Our family loves animals. We have three chihuahuas.
"Tiny" Pittypat is nine years old, "Ginger" Snap is three years old and "Gizmo" is not quite a year old.
None of them think they are dogs and they are all spoiled rotten!
Tiny was the smallest puppy in her litter when she was born.
She had to be fed with a tiny little bottle that looked like a doll bottle.
She weighs two and a half pounds now but thinks she is as big as any other dog in the neighborhood!
Tiny loves to go for rides in the car. She travels in a quilted bag that I made to carry her in.
She is very friendly and likes to get attention from everyone!
Ginger is a little bit bigger than Tiny. She usually weighs about four pounds
but right now she is expecting new puppies in April so she looks like a little butterball!
When Ginger has her puppies we'll have so many pets that it will be like a zoo around here!
We might be able to charge admission pretty soon. *smile*
Ginger is a hyper chihuahua and loves to show off!
She has been taught to sit on her bottom with her little front paws up to get a treat.
She loves to roll over so someone will rub her tummy and she also likes to fetch a small toy.
Gizmo is our only male chihuahua and he thinks he rules the roost!
He follows Ginger and Tiny around everywhere and aggrivates them to death!
He is still enough of a puppy that he wants to chew on everything, too.
We have to buy him little tiny dog bones to keep him from chewing on anything within his reach!
He (and the other two dogs) stand on our back deck and bark at the huge neighbor dog next door.
They think they are so tough!
All three of the chihuahuas have a favorite snack that they get once a day.
It is....(Shhhhh...)...I have to say it very quietly or they will hear me...."cheese"...OH NO!
They heard me and here they come running! They are running around in circles and jumping up and down!
I guess I'll have to go and give them a bite.
